What Is Engineered Wood Flooring?
Video Transcript: This is a slice of engineered hardwood flooring. By engineering we mean the upper layer of the floor is a real timber and typically a hardwood veneer with a back. The main purpose of these boards is to offer a look and feel of a good plank except to offer greater stability on installation. One example of this could be the installing of a hardwood flooring above under floor heatingsystem. Solid wood flooring that's a single piece of timber isn't quite as secure as an engineered board. This might mean that if it were to be fitted above under floor heating the chances are that the board would shrink, warp or quite possibly finally buckle. Secure manmade back in an engineered plank prevents this from occurring. Additionally, engineered boards possibly drifted across the surface of an acoustic or thermo underlay. They don't need adjusting to the sub floor and will retain their equilibrium throughout the life span of their board. Repair Parquet Floor O
